Minnesota requires every manufacturer (including brand owners and importers) to report all products with intentionally added PFAS via the PRISM system — first reports due September 15, 2026.

Covers: all products with intentionally added PFAS

Cadence: Updates due each Feb 1 (new info, changed or new products). One-time $800 fee per manufacturer.

Products no longer sold in MN and made only before July 1, 2023 are generally out of scope — verify against Minn. R. 7026.0090. Extension to Dec 14, 2026 available if requested by Aug 16, 2026.

Minnesota has banned the sale of 11 product categories with intentionally added PFAS since January 1, 2025 (cookware-industry challenge dismissed August 2025).

From 2032, Minnesota bans intentionally added PFAS in all products unless the use is designated currently unavoidable.
